At last week's Ordinary Meeting of Council, we adopted key changes to the Annual Community Development Fund Grants Program to better support our local groups and initiatives.
Here’s what’s new:
- No co-contribution required – grants can now cover 100% of eligible project costs
- Grant limits introduced – up to $5,000 or $10,000, depending on the funding category selected
- 12-month project completion timeframe from the date of approval (no longer tied to financial year-end)
- Grant rounds will open at the beginning of each financial year in July for a period of 4 weeks.
These updates are designed to make it easier and more flexible for our community to access funding and bring great projects to life!
