PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE REGISTERING ON BEHALF OF THE OWNER, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ATTACH WRITTEN AUTHORITY FROM THE OWNER WHEN COMPLETING/AMENDING ANY REGISTRATION.
1. For the purposes of these terms and conditions reference to a rate notice also includes reference to any rate instalment notice, interim and final notice.
2. You agree to receive your rate notice by email and understand that a paper document will not be sent.
3. You confirm you are the registered owner of the property, or if you are registering on behalf of the owner, that you have attached written authority from the owner.4. All future rate notices will be sent in the form of a PDF attachment to the most recent email address nominated by you.5. If you own more than one property you will need to register separately for each property. Separate email notifications will be issued matching the number of registrations received.6. You agree to regularly check your nominated email address for any relevant rate notices including junk email.7. You agree that rate notices are deemed served when it reaches your internet service provider, whether or not you have opened or read the email.
8. You agree that you will retain the rate notice information either electronically or by printing it noting that there may be a charge for requesting a further copy.9. Should Council receive an electronic “delivery failure” notification from your email address your request for email delivery will be cancelled and a paper document will be posted to the last advised postal address.10. Should Council receive advice from a managing agent that they are now responsible for payment of the rates, you will no longer receive eRates. If you wish to then receive the rates electronically again, you will need to reapply online.
