The Shire's Works team keep busy conducting the following works around our town.
• Road maintenance
• Footpath maintenance
• Park / Reserves maintenance

The Shire of Wongan-Ballidu is responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of most roads within the Shire except those under the control of Main Roads WA. If you require any works to be completed that are under the control of Council, such as road grading or removal of debris you can submit a request through our Works Request Form and the Shire will endeavour to fit your request into their works schedule.
Parks and Gardens
The Shire of Wongan-Ballidu boasts excellent parks, gardens and streetscapes, which are maintained to a high standard by our Parks and Gardens team.
The Parks and Gardens team is responsible for the development and maintenance of:
- Ballidu – Alpha Park
- Cadoux – Federation Park
- Wongan Hills – Community Park

Please note the Shire is not responsible for Apex Park located on Wandoo Crescent. Please contact Wongan Hills Apex Club.
The Shire’s parks and gardens team are also responsible for:
- Design, maintenance and development of Fenton Place precinct
- Effluent pumping and chlorination for Council reserves
