We’re excited to share that our brand-new, fully accessible community bus is now on the road!
Thanks to grant funding from Lotterywest, the bus has been modified with a wheelchair position, fully accessible front entry, and flexible seating, making it easier than ever for older residents, people with disability, and those with limited mobility to get where they need to go.
The new vehicle will help locals attend medical appointments, social outings, and community events, while also supporting local clubs and groups. Best of all, it can be driven without a special licence, making it easier to recruit volunteer drivers.
A huge thank you to Lotterywest and everyone involved in bringing this project to life — this is a big step towards a more connected and inclusive community.
