The Shire of Wongan-Ballidu is proud to share that our When Will We Meet Again? Road Safety Campaign has received a Commendation in the Innovation and/or Innovative Partnership Award (Regional) category at the 2025 LG Professionals WA Community Development Awards.
This campaign was created in partnership with our incredible local emergency services. The simple but powerful question posed by the campaign, “When will we meet again?” reminds us that while our first responders are always ready to assist, they’d much rather meet us in positive, social settings like a BBQ or community event, not at the scene of a crash. This question invites all drivers to reflect on their behaviour behind the wheel, motivating us to make choices that protect ourselves, others, and the brave first responders who serve our community.
