Staying in Place - Aged Care Support

The Wongan Hills Community Resource Centre (CRC) in collaboration with HomeMade and Mable are offering a variety of home care support and services straight to you. Whether you live in the Wongan Hills, Ballidu or a nearby area, whatever support and care you require, we will work with you to connect you to the best service to suit your needs.
Staying in Place is a program that was designed to utilise local resources to enable people to stay living locally for as long as safely possible. Originating from within the Pingelly CRC, Staying in Place has now been adopted by many communities across the Wheatbelt, allowing people to stay living in the communities they have been a part of for many years.

What Role Do We Play?
The Staying in Place team works together to ensure that you are able to access the support you need in rural communities like ours. HomeMade brings a wealth of knowledge that comes with being a home care provider. They work with Mable to make the most of local workers and businesses to offer support services that otherwise may not be available or affordable to someone on a Home Care Package.
The CRC will be the friendly face you can come and see to learn more about the support offered through the Staying in Place program. We will check in to see if you are comfortable and happy with the support you are receiving, and where possible, work to connect you with the support services that will help you to stay living and loving being a part of our community. We will be the experts who help to connect you to the services and funding available to you that you may not even realise are there for you to access.
We understand that social connection is an important part of what you need to thrive in our community, and we will ensure that we support you to remain connected and loving your life as a member of our community.
