12-month contract with possibility of permanent position
The Shire of Wongan-Ballidu is seeking a passionate and community-focused Program Coordinator – Aged Care to lead the delivery of our Staying in Place program. This initiative supports older residents to remain living independently in their own homes and connected to their community. We are looking for someone with experience in community engagement, service coordination, or aged care, who is confident liaising with clients, service providers, and contractors. The successful applicant will join a motivated team committed to enhancing the wellbeing of residents across the Wongan-Ballidu Shire.
This position is offered as a 12-month contract, with the potential to become permanent based on the ongoing success of the program. The role will commence at 25 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours as program needs evolve. The role will be based at the Wongan Hills Community Resource Centre.
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government Industry Award 2020 Level 5 with an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour, plus up to 15% superannuation. Subsidised housing may be available for the right candidate.
