Recycling Facilities

Wongan Hills has a general refuse site, a separate disused machinery site, and a chemical containers depot and has recently introduced a recycling service through the waste contractors. The Shire of Wongan-Ballidu has many community groups who realise the importance of recycling.

Ballidu has a general refuse site and provides the following recycling services:

• Aluminium cans can be deposited at the Primary School
• Glass can be deposited in the recycling station at the rear of the Ballidu hall
