Reporting Faults and Damages
Additional street lighting can be requested by writing to the Chief Executive Officer. Existing street lighting is maintained by Western Power.
Street light faults can be reported directly to Western Power on Western Power Customer Reports or on telephone 1800 622 008 (when reporting faulty street light please make a note of the pole number for easy identification) or Western Power (No power, trees in power line, damaged Western Power property) on 131 351.
Any requests for new works or services in areas under Council control should be directed to the Chief Executive Officer in writing by 30th March each year. This will allow the item to be considered for funding in the next financial year. The Local Government financial year is from 1st July to 30th June.
